The Boeing Company MP&P Technical Analyst in Seattle, Washington
Boeing Research and Technology is seeking a (junior/early career) MP&P Metals/ Composite Technical Analyst. This position will support research and development activities for multiple programs in a rapid development environment. This position is located in Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities: •Assist and participate in the design, fabrication and testing of prototypes, development parts •Assist and participate in the integration of individual parts into larger development systems • Assist and participate in the transformation of raw and advanced materials into finished components •Participate in evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology and processes to ensure that conformance and producibility requirements are met •Support continuous improvement of products and processes by participating in the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technology

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications: • AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • 1 yr experience in manufacturing/assembly environment
Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in shop environment preferably as a machinist apprentice • Experience in using manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (i.e. lathe, mill, etc.) • Knowledge of the properties of metal and other common materials • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals • Proficiency on electrical and mechanical systems. • Proficiency at interpreting Engineering requirements including drawings and process specifications. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. • CAD experience
