TheNurse Extern PRNassists in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a registered nurse, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Skills: * Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to transcribe physician’s orders
Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners needs
Basic computer skills
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing required
- 1 year of nursing school preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required through the AHA or ARC
