Pfizer Associate Solutions Delivery in Tampa, Florida

The Agile Enterprise Solutions (AES) team represents the Digital Center of Excellence (CoE) for cloud infrastructure capabilities, providing foundational public and private cloud services to all business lines, globally across Pfizer. AES is a high-performing team, focused on delivering secure, scalable, compliant, operationally viable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

The Solutions Delivery SRE role is primarily responsible for delivering integrated infrastructure solutions to Pfizer Digital customers. This role will report directly to the Solutions Delivery Lead. The primary focus of this role will be to design, implement, and support our key delivery systems, processes, and capabilities as part of the Solutions Delivery Agile framework. This role will also support the integration of new creation center infrastructure demand in partnership and with the guidance of other team members.

The role will also utilize SRE methodologies to improve solutions delivery process, products, and services as part of our Agile Operating model.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have day to day accountability of existing engineering and integration processes in service of Pfizer Digital projects

  • Ensure the success of day to day Digital projects while integrating the right infrastructure per provided requirements.

  • In partnership with senior team members, translate business outcomes into solutions that can be developed and operationalized by EP&S.

  • Develop user stories and epics to encapsulate business requirements for prioritization against the master Solutions Delivery backlog.

  • Utilize SRE signals and KPIs to inform changes to solutions delivery process, products, and capabilities

  • Identify operational improvements to Solutions Delivery and EP&S wide process.

  • Actively engage in both operational (unplanned) and scrum (planned) Solutions Delivery activities at the direction of team leads

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 1-3 years of related pharmaceutical experience required.

  • Basic understanding traditional on premise as well as cloud services desired

  • Basic understanding of both traditional and agile development models

  • Demonstrates a positive customer first attitude

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Applicants should be capable of working through a personal laptop computer or mobile device for extended period

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly self-aware, quick to establish trust, with a customer first mind set

  • Self-starting individual with the ability to work independently as well as with direct and cross functional team members

  • Highly motivated to learn and ingest knowledge across the digital technology spectrum

  • Comfortable working with data in Excel or Tableau

  • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft SharePoint and the O365 collaboration suite a plus
