Fiserv Portfolio & Delivery Manager in Trenton, New Jersey
What does a great Portfolio & Delivery Manager do?
You will specialize in managing complex product portfolio end-to-end , from the moment an enhancement request comes through the door till the very end when it is deployed to production.
You in charge of coordinating closely with product managers, R&D leaders and all other key stakeholders within the application development chain.
You will be bringing your years of experience to bear to solve challenging program management problems quickly and cleanly, ensuring that the team remains on schedule and that all internal and external collaborations are managed.
You will manage from inception of ideas thru delivery utilizing Agile methodologies.
You will coordinate internal project/program management, strategy, reporting, development and quality resources, and serve as a primary point of contact for internal clients and external partners.
You will manage a group of product portfolios within our DNA ecosystem and the portfolios will range from small to large, complex.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
Bachelors degree required in either Computer Science, Information Systems or Computing Engineering
5+ years of experience delivering software development programs
Must have a proven track record of working with application development teams focused on scope, delivery, risk, and supporting large-scale software services and platforms
Must have excellent program/project management skills and demonstrated capability with Scrum/Agile.
Formal training and hands-on experience with program management, Portfolio & Delivery Management, or proven equivalent experience
Must be able to converse effectively with technical teams and business teams – applied technical experience a plus
Possess exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to drive decision making and consensus with diverse teams.
Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal skills, coupled with ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise is required.
Experience with tools such as Microsoft TFS, JIRA, Microsoft Office (Excel), Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
Must be an independent problem solver that can make high quality judgments and decisions quickly with excellent organization skills
Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on deliverables
Influencing others who are not in your reporting chain
Must be a quick learner, able to come up to speed on any type of technical project and credibly lead the release
Ability to view a set of projects holistically in order to identify impending areas of conflict or failure is a required skill
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Masters Degree is preferred in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering. Computer Science or Engineering degree highly preferred.
Cyber security (basic concept) knowledge, experience with the Microsoft .NET technology stack and Oracle
