Cardinal Health Director, Sales Technology in United States

The Director of Sales Technology oversees all aspects of our commercial tools, platforms, and products within the global Medical Segment. They are responsible for building relationships with commercial partners to better understand the needs of the business. They will direct the design, development, & implementation of commercial applications. They will also look to continuously improve the commercial applications, systems, products, and platforms to enable the sales team to achieve the company’s business objectives. Reports to the Vice President, Commercial Operations and will achieve results through both direct and indirect teams.

Core Responsibilities:

Develop the technology and tools strategy for Commercial stakeholders.

Support discovery activity for app owners, managers, and stakeholders.

Ensure the app owners, managers, and stakeholders are executing against key business initiatives.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance current tools & technology.

Maintain alignment with company strategic initiatives.

Conduct reviews, provide career guidance, and develop teams through training and ongoing coaching.

Core Capabilities:

Navigate a highly matrixed organization.

Solicit feedback from stakeholders at various levels.

Ability to synthesize and socialize that feedback effectively.

Can execute against specific operating plans to activate against that feedback through iterations and tollgates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in related field preferred
  • Significant experience with sales tech strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large team performance, career and professional development
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and internal galvanizing of product principles
  • Track record of identifying, recruiting, and retaining talent
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability that drives operational excellence
