The SE-V Facility Controls organization is looking for a highly engaged/motivated self-starter to join our team. Facility Controls technicians support all Pratt & Whitney Military, Commercial and Industrial Development Engine programs. Responsibilities of this position include but not limited to:

  • Control System Design and Software Development

  • Electrical Design and understanding of electrical systems

  • Electrical and Control System Field Support and Troubleshooting

  • Special Test Equipment and Test Stand Control System Maintenance/Modification

  • Collaborate with various organizations across SE-V including but not limited to Test Engineers, Test Systems Engineering, Measurement Systems Engineering and other Validation customers.

  • Use of AutoCad to update and create new electrical wiring diagrams

  • Use of ACE to identify opportunities to improve tools, methods and processes.

  • Some off-shift support will be required.

Qualification: Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required

  • 3+ years in Aerospace/Electrical Controls Environment

  • US Citizen required, due to Government contracts

  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AutoCad Experience + AB ControlLogix Experience ++ and AP Rockwell.

  • Possess excellent organization and communication skills.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is desirable

  • Programming Experience is a strong plus/desire

  • Aerospace knowledge + but not required.

  • Knowledge of instrumentation types and sensor applications in the aerospace industry is desirable.

  • Experience in Sensor types include but not limited to accelerometers, pressure transducers, and thermocouple measurement equipment.

  • You will have a good balance between mechanical and electrical aptitude.

  • Strong background in MS Office is required and experience in other signal acquisition or processing software is a plus Current U.S. Government Secret level security clearance is a plus.
