Seeking a new and challenging opportunity to further enhance your career? The Clean Technologies business has a development opportunity for a Senior Technical Development Engineer – Refining. The Senior Technical Development Engineer will report to the Technical Services/Technical Development Manager. The individual with work in a team with scientists and engineers in applying research and development and commercial data to further enhance and support the refining business in DuPont Clean Technologies: IsoTherming ® hydroprocessing, STRATCO ® alkylation, BELCO ® scrubbing and MECS ® sulfuric acid technologies.
Leadtechnical/technology development to support the refining businesses,collaborating with a multi-disciplinary group of business, technical andR&D members. Supportcross-functional collaboration with DuPont Clean Technologies, and withthe broader DuPont Science & Engineering teams.
Drivethe technical component of innovation programs including deliverables,timelines, resource allocation, and costs.
Workclosely with the business and R&D teams to prioritize programs anddevelopment of new programs.Promote a balanced portfolio of short term and long-term revenuegrowth. Balance across technicalservice, development, and longer-term research to provide step-changeoptions for growth in addition to protecting market positions.
SupportIP Strategy and Execution, including an ongoing process to review patentsand literature in the area.
Communicateresults and status to appropriate stakeholders.
Ensuredocumentation and knowledge capture from the team.
Leadteam in being role models for DuPont Core Values.
M.S.or B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent technicalexperience. Experience in process development, reaction engineering,catalyst, hydroprocessing and related fields are preferred.
Experiencewith modeling (design of experiments), experimental setup and scale-up.
Refiningor refining industry background is preferred.
